ST. VLAS

The village of St Vlas lies 4km to the north of Sunny Beach and 9km from the town of Nessebar. Nestling under the Stara Planina mountain range, if offers a stunning combination of sea and mountains, with a micro-climate what has long been considered by Bulgarians as particularly health giving.

Following the recent completion of the “Dineva Marina”, St Vlas is now the pre-eminent smart destination on the Bulgarian coast, confirmed by the increasing number of moorings for luxury yachts. It is also the home of the annual Victory Sailing Regatta.

NESSEBAR

Garden of Eden looks across a beautiful turquoise bay to the charming site of Nessebar, a medieval town with a rich history and fascinating architecture. Nessebar is on an island, now connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. So important is this location that UNESCO has named if a World Heritage Site.

Notable sights include the ruins of an antique fortified wall and gate dating from the 3rd and 4th centuries, churches from the 5th and 6th centuries and from the 10th to 14th centuries, the latter being particularly fine examples of medieval Bulgarian and Byzantine architecture. There are also some 60 houses of the 19th century revival period which give the town its unique appearance and atmosphere.

SUNNY BEACH

Sunny Beach is situated 4km from St Vlas and the coastline can be seen from the Garden of Eden. This is the largest beach resort in Bulgaria; very popular and particularly busy during the peak summer period. The sandy beach is about 10km long, covered with soft and fine sand. The bottom of the sea is also sandy with a slight slope making it suitable for bathing and swimming.

Sunny Beach offers lots of entertainment and different attractions such as 160+ restaurants and numerous bars,  casinos and nightclubs. There is an abundance of activities such as sailing, windsurfing, parasailing, speed boating, water skiing, beach volleyball, cycling, roller and in-line skating, bowling, tennis, horse riding, wall climbing, mini-golf, archery, cricket and diving are also available
